Responsibilities

• Own the overall technical vision, architecture, and technology roadmap
• Guide build-vs-buy decisions and platform, infrastructure, and security strategy
• Coach engineering leadership and raise the bar on delivery, quality, and velocity
• Establish engineering standards, review cadences, and hiring frameworks
• Advise founders on technical risk, compliance, and scalability
• Represent engineering in strategic and investor conversations

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with senior/executive leadership experience
• Track record scaling engineering orgs and platforms, ideally in fintech or SaaS
• Deep architectural judgment across cloud, security, and distributed systems
• Experience setting standards for hiring, quality, and delivery at scale
• Comfort operating in a fractional/advisory capacity with high autonomy
