Cybersecurity Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and review security architectures for cloud, infrastructure, application, identity, network, and data environments
• Develop and maintain threat models to identify attack surfaces and security risks
• Provide security guidance and recommendations during architecture and design reviews
• Promote zero-trust security principles, least-privilege access, and defense-in-depth strategies
• Translate regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF) into technical architecture and control mappings
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence
• Mentor engineers and technical teams on secure design practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5 to 8 years of overall information security experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or security architecture role
• Experience designing and securing cloud, application, and data environments
• Proficiency in threat modeling and security risk assessments
• Experience working within regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF)

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certifications
