Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) compliance certification processes
• Perform Automotive Cybersecurity Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for ECUs or systems
• Maintain cybersecurity practices aligned with OT and automotive standards
• Perform security code reviews and advise developers on vulnerability remediation
• Employ techniques including reverse engineering, fuzzing, and static/dynamic analysis
• Manage vulnerability management processes including penetration testing
• Develop cybersecurity test cases and test plans based on technical specifications
• Mentor non-security engineers on secure architecture and design
• Secure Key Management systems with certificates for wayside and vehicle components
• Perform internal security audits and coordinate with external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of CWE Top 25
• Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, CCPA, PCI-DSS, IEC 62443, UNR 155, UNR 156, and WP.29
• Technical knowledge of security engineering, network security, and authentication protocols
• Experience with Secure Boot and secure storage concepts
• Experience in Automotive Cybersecurity TARA

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of securing OT systems in automotive or rail industries
