Danish-English Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Danish-English interpretation for OPI/VRI healthcare and medical calls
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with interpreter code of ethics
• Take detailed notes during calls and apply industry-specific medical vocabulary
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient patients and healthcare providers
• Complete internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and adhere to dress code requirements for video sessions

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Danish and English
• Proven knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology
• Dedicated wired internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
• Windows 10+ PC with dual-core 2GHz processor and 8GB RAM minimum
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• Professional interpretation certification preferred
