Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and validate client billing data across multiple internal systems to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation to strengthen billing processes
• Partner with the Client Group to support timely billing and answer data questions
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses to surface billing trends and anomalies
• Drive down client billing friction through process improvement, better data flows, and automation
• Collaborate across Product Analytics, Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to improve data systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an analytics, data, or finance-operations role
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and large-dataset manipulation
• Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases
• Demonstrated experience reconciling data across systems and resolving discrepancies
• Exceptional attention to detail and high bar for data accuracy
• Ability to navigate imperfect data and shifting priorities
• Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare data such as medical or pharmacy claims
• Familiarity with billing, revenue operations, or accounts-receivable processes
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools like Looker or Tableau
• Exposure to Google BigQuery, dbt, or similar data-warehouse tooling
• Python or scripting experience
• Understanding of data governance and data-quality frameworks
