Data Architect (Trading)

Responsibilities

• Design robust and scalable data architecture integrating data from diverse sources, optimizing for business requirements.
• Develop data engineering pipelines for ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Build and maintain data warehouses, marts, and lakes for business intelligence and analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to support machine learning operations (MLOps) practices.
• Implement security measures and compliance to protect data privacy and adhere to regulations.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards for quality and accessibility.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business data requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data processing performance and scalability.
• Document architecture, models, and workflows for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data architecture design and implementation.
• Deep knowledge of data engineering principles and practices.
• Expertise in data warehousing, modelling, and integration.
• Experience in MLOps and machine learning pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
• Hands-on experience with big data platforms (Apache Arrow, Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Clickhouse) and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• AWS Cloud Data Engineer certification (optional).
• AWS Machine Learning Ops Engineer certification (optional).
• Passion for scalable and secure system design in dynamic environments.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
