Data Architect (Trading)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable data architecture integrating multiple data sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Build and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes for business intelligence and analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to enable scalable MLOps solutions.
• Implement data security measures to ensure privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Stay updated with trends in data architecture, engineering, and MLOps.
• Monitor and optimize data processing performance.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and share knowledge internally.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data architecture design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles
• Expertise in data warehousing, modelling, and integration
• Experience with MLOps and machine learning pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages
• Experience with big data platforms (Apache Arrow, Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Clickhouse)
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Certifications (optional): AWS Cloud Data Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Ops Engineer
• Experience in trading environments
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts to various audiences
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
