Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
• Define enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and interoperability
• Architect modern data platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses to support analytics and AI
• Lead client engagements as a trusted advisor on data strategy, architecture, and platform design
• Translate business and policy objectives into structured data solutions and pipelines
• Establish data governance practices including data quality, lineage, cataloguing, and access control
• Design data integration strategies across multiple systems, APIs, and external data sources
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement pipelines, orchestration, and real-time/streaming architectures

Requirements

• 7+ years of data architecture experience
• Deep expertise in Oracle and SQL Server
• Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter or an equivalent ETL platform
• Expertise in Change Data Capture (CDC) for incremental and near real-time synchronization
• Experience with complex source-to-target mapping across large schema landscapes
• Strong understanding of data governance, lineage tracking, and metadata cataloguing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with domain-driven data modelling and database-per-service patterns
• Knowledge of Liquibase or equivalent schema change management
• Ability to perform physical schema design from logical and conceptual models
