Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise data solutions built within Microsoft Fabric to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
• Build and manage data ingestion processes from various internal and external data sources.
• Maintain Fabric Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, and related data assets.
• Monitor platform performance and proactively resolve data pipeline issues.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met across the platform.
• Create technical documentation for data models, pipelines, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with analytics and BI teams to enable accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Warehouses and Lakehouses.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and integration best practices.
• Experience with Azure data services and troubleshooting large-scale data workloads.
• Experience in the fintech, payments, banking, or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or related cloud certifications.
• Experience with payment processing, AP automation, or commercial payments domains.
