Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure tools like Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines
• Develop and optimize data processing jobs using Azure Databricks (Spark) with PySpark or Scala
• Manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and configurations for performance and cost-efficiency
• Provision and manage Azure data platform resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep)
• Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Support day-to-day operations of the Azure Modern Data Platform, including monitoring stability and managing RBAC permissions
• Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, and client stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines) for CI/CD
• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform)
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure cloud fundamentals
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
