Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, and optimize data pipelines to support various data workflows
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data
  • Ensure high data quality and availability for complex analysis by data scientists and engineers
  • Work closely with data scientists to make data actionable

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in data engineering
  • Expertise in data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or Snowflake)
  • Proficiency in ELT processes and tools like dbt
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics and data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis
  • Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and secure data transfer
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures
