Data Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, controls, metrics, and measurement frameworks
• Establish data quality requirements in collaboration with Data Owners and stakeholders
• Assess data quality across critical data domains, systems, and pipelines
• Develop data quality profiles, baselines, scorecards, and dashboards
• Perform root-cause analysis for data quality issues and establish remediation processes
• Partner with Data Engineers to embed quality controls within ETL/ELT pipelines
• Collaborate with Data Governance and Metadata teams to align rules with approved standards
• Provide data quality reporting to governance councils and program leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience, with 3+ years specialized in data quality analysis and DBMS
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise data governance programs
• Strong understanding of metadata practices and stewardship models
• Experience governing high-sensitivity or regulated data
• Proficiency with data quality profiling and monitoring techniques
• Background in data modeling and change data capture concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Federal Government or regulated environments
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance frameworks
• Data management certification
