Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Research and experiment with multifamily datasets to identify opportunities for new product features and insights
• Partner with product managers and engineers to define requirements and design data-driven capabilities
• Translate acquisitions workflows into scalable tools and features for institutional investors
• Apply large language models (LLMs) and other AI techniques to accelerate research and automate workflows
• Act as a subject matter expert on multifamily acquisitions
• Create clear documentation, dashboards, and analyses to communicate findings

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in multifamily commercial real estate
• Background in underwriting, deal analysis, and pro forma modeling
• Experience using CoStar, Yardi Matrix, or RealPage Market Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience applying LLMs or AI/ML techniques to data
• Familiarity with modern data science practices
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficiency in Python or R
