Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop automated ELT pipelines in Snowflake using complex SQL transformations
• Create and curate charts and graphics to reveal useful insights
• Assemble data from various sources and formats for analysis
• Identify, manage, and solve technical/engineering problems using data systems
• Propose and promote projects to support strategic decisions or optimize automated systems
• Analyze existing data sets to develop hypotheses and answer questions
• Document methods and results concisely for colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related data science field with 2+ years of experience
• Or an advanced degree without professional experience
• Or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Full stack data science proficiency including data engineering and web apps
• Strong scripting skills in SQL and Python
• Experience with linear regression, categorical models, and machine learning
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
