Data Scientist Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists and analysts
• Evaluate AI enabled initiatives including impact assessment and risk analysis
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Develop and implement mentoring programs for professional growth
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define data science strategies
• Establish standards and best practices for data science methodologies
• Participate in coding and development work approximately 50% of the time
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for healthcare applications
• Partner with clinicians and researchers to translate requirements into data-driven solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Databricks and Machine Learning
• Experience with Quality & Safety Analytics preferred
• Knowledge of emerging AI technologies like LLMs, RAG, and GenAI
