Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics projects: problem framing, data preparation, model design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Build, validate, and productionize machine learning models and data-driven features that drive measurable business impact.
• Create clear, actionable visualizations and executive-ready summaries of complex analytical results.
• Mentor junior data scientists, share best practices, and contribute to knowledge sharing across BCG X.
• Represent BCG X in technical forums, contribute to scientific thought leadership, and present at conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience deploying ML solutions at scale in production environments.
• Familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps tooling.
• Prior experience in consulting or working directly with enterprise clients.
• Strong software engineering practices, version control, testing, and reproducible workflows.
• Expertise in one or more application areas such as NLP, computer vision, time-series forecasting, or optimization.
