Data Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and solution direction for client engagements
• Design Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, and hybrid analytics platforms
• Architect data integration, Lakehouse, data warehouse, and semantic modeling solutions
• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design discussions
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Establish approaches for data quality, source control, CI/CD, and operational readiness
• Design data foundations that support Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and RAG solutions

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or business intelligence
• Experience leading architecture and technical delivery for client-facing consulting
• Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Databricks
• Advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling and Power BI architecture
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Fabric certification
• Experience with Microsoft Purview for data cataloging and governance
• AI and agent architecture experience (Copilots, RAG)
• Experience modernizing Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
