Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead administrator for enterprise database, system, and network environments supporting mission-critical operations
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database platforms, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure
• Manage database performance, availability, scalability, integrity, and security across production and test environments
• Implement backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
• Support database security and compliance through access controls, auditing, and encryption
• Troubleshoot complex database, system, and network issues

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting IT programs or enterprise technology environments
• Experience administering enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability determination or Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DHS or CISA programs
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks like NIST RMF and Zero Trust principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure automation
