DataStage Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL jobs using DataStage.
• Implement data integration solutions to support reporting and analytics.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with architects, DBAs and business stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in DataStage development
• Strong SQL
• ETL tools
• Data cleansing
• Data warehousing
• Data transformation
• Troubleshooting
• Communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM DataStage (or equivalent ETL platforms)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery
• Experience working with cloud or on-premise data platforms
• Knowledge of performance tuning and best practices for ETL
