DBS Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for the Functional Neurosurgery portfolio, focusing on deep brain stimulation and epilepsy management.
• Lead demonstrations of Brainlab software and platform portfolios to clinical stakeholders.
• Provide on-site consulting and technical guidance to physicians and OR personnel during surgical procedures.
• Educate and train physicians, radiology, and biomedical staff on the use of Brainlab products.
• Collaborate with Area Account Managers to develop local strategies and maximize market penetration.
• Identify and execute clinical marketing initiatives and contribute to regional marketing plans.
• Travel extensively (up to 75%) across the MENA region to support customers and clinical sites.

Requirements

• BSc in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or an equivalent medical degree.
• 5 years of experience in the medical technology or medical device industry.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the MENA region.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical value to clinicians.
• Ability to work independently and manage demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Neuroscience.
• Experience with Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products.
