Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical resource for DBT-informed treatment approaches and specialty patient populations
  • Provide informal consultation to clinicians regarding case conceptualization, treatment planning, and DBT interventions
  • Support consistency and quality across DBT-informed clinical services
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities like DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interventions through telehealth
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Coordinate care with internal and external providers to support continuity of treatment

Requirements

  • Active New York State License (LCSW or LMHC)
  • Certifications in DBT modalities
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience providing psychotherapy to diverse populations
  • 3+ years of combined training and active practice in DBT psychotherapy
  • 1+ year of experience facilitating psychotherapy group therapy for adults
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and EHR platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading DBT skills groups for fellow clinicians or other evidence-based psychotherapy groups
