Demand Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Draft polished and accurate demand packages following firm SOPs
• Review medical records, bills, liens, and treatment history for accuracy
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to maximize outcomes
• Negotiate medical lien reductions with providers
• Manage case progression through the post-treatment demand stage
• Maintain detailed documentation and file hygiene in MyCase
• Use AI tools strategically to improve drafting efficiency while verifying all outputs
• Prepare organized files for litigation handoff when settlements are not achieved

Requirements

• Direct experience in personal injury demand drafting and settlement negotiations
• Experience reviewing and negotiating medical liens
• Proficiency with MyCase or similar legal CRM systems
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for higher settlement values
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with high accountability and minimal supervision
• Strategic judgment in using AI tools for legal drafting
• Litigation exposure is strongly preferred
