Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, documentation, and implementation of desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, and software applications
• Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups
• Monitor and coordinate the distribution of client/server software and service packs
• Perform on-site and remote technical support
• Configure Virtual Servers and High Availability applications
• Manage organization and inventory of hardware and software resources
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Make recommendations for new equipment and work with vendors for procurement

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall experience with 4 years in deployment functions
• Extensive experience with Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server platforms
• Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016)
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V
• Proficiency with Apache Tomcat and basic ETL jobs
• Experience with Windows scripting and DOS commands
• Ability to work night shifts
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
