Design Director

Responsibilities

• Balance leadership with hands-on design execution to create and ship exceptional work
• Apply expertise in product design, design systems, and human-centered design to guide teams
• Serve as a trusted design advisor to clients, managing feedback and building strong relationships
• Partner with Business Development to scope work and identify strategic opportunities
• Hire, mentor, and develop design team members to build a leadership pipeline
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance design culture

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and mentoring design teams through complex challenges
• Strong communication and presentation skills to influence diverse stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business priorities
• Active engagement in the design community through thought leadership
• Knowledge of change management and service design principles
• Strategic thinking capabilities for business development and client relationship-building
