Design Engineer (Dubai, UAE)

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of high-impact marketing pages and microsites for ElevenLabs' UAE presence (Dubai).
• Build interactive, performant demos and experiences using Next.js and React that drive engagement and can go viral.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Growth, and Engineering to ensure cohesive brand, UX, and conversion-focused outcomes.
• Iterate on pages and demos using analytics, SEO best practices, and user feedback.
• Maintain production frontend code quality, accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements

• Strong frontend engineering experience with Next.js and React
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript
• Experience building interactive UIs and animations (Framer Motion, D3, or similar)
• Portfolio showcasing marketing websites, microsites, or demo projects
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and conversion optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with designers and growth teams
• Must be based in the UAE (Dubai preferred) or able to operate primarily from a UAE location

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in UX or visual design and ability to iterate on visual direction
• Experience with performance optimization, A/B testing, and analytics-driven iteration
• Familiarity with CMS integrations and static site generation in Next.js
• Strong copywriting or content design skills
• Prior work on viral microsites, interactive demos, or marketing-driven frontend projects
