About the Company

Truffle Security is a cybersecurity company on a mission to make secrets easier to detect, verify, and remediate across modern software environments. Built on the popular open-source TruffleHog™ secrets scanning platform, the company's enterprise solution helps security and engineering teams find exposed credentials and manage non-human identities (NHIs).

Responsibilities

  • Grow the open source community around TruffleHog and related projects
  • Create technical content including blogs, demos, tutorials, and videos
  • Lead community programs such as office hours, technical sessions, and community calls
  • Partner with research and engineering to package technical findings and product updates
  • Develop launch plans for research releases and product announcements
  • Gather and champion community feedback to inform product and engineering roadmaps
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and security events

Requirements

  • Experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or community management
  • Strong understanding of modern software development, CI/CD, and GitHub-based workflows
  • Familiarity with secrets management, secret scanning, or vulnerability management
  • Ability to read, write, and explain code
  • Experience creating technical content like blog posts, workshops, or documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and low-ego working style

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or scaling a DevRel or open source community program
  • Active contributor to open source communities
  • Familiarity with Go, Python, Bash, GitHub Actions, Docker, or cloud platforms
  • Experience speaking at conferences, meetups, or podcasts
  • Knowledge of AppSec, DevSecOps, or cloud security workflows
