We provide an all-in-one suite including product analytics, a built-in data warehouse, and AI-powered tools to help organizations build and ship faster. We are a natively remote, transparent, and high-autonomy company focused on solving big problems.
Responsibilities
- Grow online conversations across the PostHog forum, Discord, and subreddit.
- Maintain and seed high-quality discussions on topics like growth engineering and product design.
- Build a "superfans operating system" to identify, spotlight, and reward power users, OSS contributors, and founders.
- Develop systems to recognize and enable community members through rewards and engagement.
- Collaborate with the IRL events team to bridge the gap between online communities and offline meetups.
- Manage potential community incidents or guideline violations.
Requirements
- Proven track record of building or stewarding high-quality online communities (Discord, Slack, Reddit, etc.).
- Must be an active PostHog user with the ability to hold credible technical conversations.
- Experience as an active participant in developer communities.
- Strong public writing and speaking skills to model conversational standards.
- Alignment with PostHog's core values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an Open Source Software (OSS) maintainer.
- Experience running developer-focused programs such as ambassadors, champions, or hackathons.
- Experience building a personal audience via newsletters, podcasts, or social media.
