DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI/CD pipeline tools for various software products
• Develop infrastructure as code to deploy development environments
• Containerize applications to improve deployments and resilience
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Ensure infrastructure scales dynamically and recovers from disaster scenarios
• Develop internal tooling to improve operational efficiency and self-service solutions
• Manage development resources and access controls
• Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Information Security
• 2 years of experience in a DevOps position
• 3 years of experience in Software Engineering
• 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience running Kubernetes or EKS in production environments
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Familiarity with CI tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Strong knowledge of orchestration tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Git
• Experience with monitoring tools, APM, logging, and infrastructure
• Experience with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift
