Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Patchman backend infrastructure
• Develop and maintain new product features from design through implementation and testing
• Investigate and resolve complex issues reported by customers by digging into the codebase
• Operate and maintain a large fleet of dedicated servers, including API gateways and load balancers
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated delivery
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Monitor performance and reliability of production systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine architecture

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend or DevOps Developer
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language
• Experience designing backend services with focus on performance, concurrency, and scalability
• Experience building high-throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka, ClickHouse, or RabbitMQ
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and in-memory databases (Redis)
• Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience working with monitoring systems
• Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices, Git, and automated testing
• Upper-intermediate spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Django
• Experience with configuration management systems like Puppet, Ansible, or Salt
