DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and career development
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Cloudformation, or AWS CDK
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure code deployment
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of production systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues with root cause analysis
• Conduct regular security audits and implement compliance measures
• Represent the DevOps team at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering
• 2+ years in a leadership role (for Senior level)
• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Javascript, NodeJS, Typescript, Python, or Go
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS SDK, Shell scripts)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket Pipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AWS ECS/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and monitoring tools (Datadog, AWS X-Ray)
• Experience working with databases and big data sets
• Ability to work in a 24x7 production environment
