DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Improve and scale global cloud infrastructure across multiple countries
• Manage and monitor cloud environments using autoscaling, automated alerts, and Grafana dashboards
• Streamline environment provisioning and optimize DevOps processes to reduce costs and response times
• Take ownership of cloud operation activities and maintain high availability
• Liaise with external security agencies for audits and perform internal security sweeps
• Reconfigure architecture to support rapid deployments to new geographic regions
• Mentor less experienced team members within the DevOps team

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional DevOps experience
• Proven experience with AWS and utilizing cloud resources to meet production demands
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Microservices and Service Mesh concepts
• Solid networking knowledge, specifically the TCP/IP stack and HTTP protocol
• Proficiency in Linux OS troubleshooting and parameter optimization
• Experience with caching technologies such as CDN, Redis, or Memcached

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JVM optimization
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Salt, Chef, or Ansible
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Rancher
