About the Company

Sweed is a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We provide an enterprise-grade solution combining POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management into a single, seamless platform to help retailers scale and optimize operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
  • Propose, plan, and execute projects to improve existing solutions and processes
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to enhance scalability and resource utilization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system and application performance, ensuring high availability
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, including resource provisioning, cost optimization, and security
  • Work on enhancing monitoring and logging solutions to provide insights into system health and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development and operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Experience with Linux administration at scale and understanding of Linux internals
  • Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Go
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes tooling (kubectl, Helm, Kustomize)
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • English proficiency (B2 or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or CSA)
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and on-premises environments
  • Experience with ETL tools (Airbyte, Airflow, Dagster, or dbt)
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational database operations
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
