DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and be responsible for overall platform health, scaling and planning
• Develop self-service tools and automate processes to improve data engineering efficiency
• Build logging and monitoring tools to visualize platform state and improve SRE practices
• Implement a secure, robust, and high availability DevOps pipeline
• Build out a multi-account AWS environment
• Automate build and deployment processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering
• Experience crafting CI/CD processes and automation
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud technology
• Experience with Datadog or other enterprise monitoring tools
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain TS Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in AWS GovCloud
• Experience in data processing with the DoD or IC
• Experience building CI/CD systems in GitHub Actions
• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
• Knowledge of advanced networking (overlays, VPNs, zero trust networks)
• Willingness to travel 20-30%
