Digital, AI and Innovation Internship

Responsibilities

Interns can support the Digital, AI and Innovation (DAI) Hub across several workstreams, including:

• Systems Transformation & Innovation: Conduct research on emerging policy approaches and contribute to horizon scanning of global trends.
• Programme Delivery & Capacity Building: Support digital and AI initiatives with Country Offices and develop capacity-building materials.
• Data Policy & Governance: Research data governance frameworks, data protection, and responsible data use.
• Data Analytics & Insights: Clean and analyze datasets, develop dashboards, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Partnerships & Strategic Communications: Research potential partners and contribute to strategic outreach, social media, and newsletters.
• Process Efficiency & Resource Management: Track project milestones and assist with operational planning and SOP development.
• Product Design & Management: Participate in the design and testing of digital products, including apps and AI tools.
• Research & Knowledge Management: Maintain knowledge platforms and curate digital-related repositories.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a graduate school programme, or in the final year of an undergraduate degree, or a recent graduate (within one year).
• Fluency in English.
• Interest or experience in one of the DAI Hub workstream areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in database management and detail-oriented approach.
