Digital Strategist - Short Term Contract

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the product backlog, ensuring alignment to product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis to gather and translate business and user needs within scaled agile frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, design, development, testing) to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog based on value, dependencies, and risks.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, breaking down features into manageable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support.
• Use analytics and feedback to support informed decision-making.
• Support implementation of continuous delivery practices for faster release and improved quality.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation within agile processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience on enterprise digital initiatives, software development, or IT projects as Product Owner or similar role
• CMS experience (Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager [AEM], or others)
• Strong understanding of enterprise digital platforms (CRM, ERP, PIM, etc.)
• Knowledge of data interchange and API management platforms
• Familiarity with business process definition in Commerce, Marketing Automation, Content Strategy, Personalization, and Customer Service
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in backlog management, writing user stories, backlog refinement, iterative development, frequent delivery and continuous feedback
• Experience in scaled agile environments (e.g., SAFe), including participation in PI planning and ART sync meetings
• Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce experience
• Relevant Product Ownership and Agile certifications (SAFe PMPO/CSPO)
• Experience with Jira/Confluence toolset
• UAT and software testing experience
