Director, Client Coding Integration

Responsibilities

• Lead coding integration activities for physician billing clients during onboarding and acquisitions
• Serve as the primary coding subject matter expert during implementation
• Assess existing coding workflows and identify opportunities for standardization
• Provide expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and regulatory compliance
• Monitor coding quality, productivity, and audit findings
• Analyze coding-related trends and revenue cycle performance
• Build trusted partnerships with physicians and client stakeholders
• Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare coding or revenue cycle experience
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or project management experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding
• Active coding credentials such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
• Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale physician practice integrations
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Athena
• Background in revenue integrity, coding compliance, or CDI
• Knowledge of AI-enabled tools and workflow optimization solutions
