Director, Clinical Excellence

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence managers within their assigned region
• Collaborate with capital sales teams to expand product footprints
• Participate in the sales process for new and expansion opportunities
• Sell clinical programs and EMR integration to support customer success
• Ensure the clinical excellence team executes quality customer business reviews
• Provide in-person and virtual support to customers, partners, and team members
• Engage in business, clinical, operational, and financial action planning
• Manage relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, and regulatory agencies
• Lead the clinical excellence team through transitioning problem accounts
• Partner with Sales Effectiveness to execute training programs for medical devices
• Travel up to 75% of the time to support regional needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Master's degree (MSN or MBA)
• 5+ years of nursing leadership experience in healthcare or medical device settings
• Proficiency in compliance regulations and standards
• Experience developing business plans and ROI
• Deep understanding of health system accreditation processes
• Strong process and quality improvement background
• Ability to translate data and analytics into action plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Experience in the medical device industry
• Functional knowledge of dialysis or relevant medical technologies
• Advanced nursing certifications (ACNO, CNO, VP of Patient Care Services, or DON experience)
• Certified Nurse Executive (CNE) or NEA-BC
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
• Certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL)
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
