Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance the company’s lending Compliance Management System
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, FCRA, and UDAAP
• Monitor regulatory developments and serve as primary liaison for regulators and auditors
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, controls, monitoring, and testing programs
• Conduct risk assessments and review marketing materials, disclosures, and loan documents
• Partner with product, underwriting, operations, and technology teams to embed compliance into workflows
• Oversee issue management, consumer complaint resolution, and executive reporting
• Build a strong culture of compliance through training and cross-functional partnership

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive compliance experience within lending originations
• Deep knowledge of federal and state lending regulations (HELOC, DSCR, and crypto-backed products)
• Experience managing regulatory exams and external audits
• Proven experience leading compliance teams
• Strong understanding of lending operations and the full loan lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or technology-enabled mortgage platforms
• CAMS, CRCM, or similar certification
• Servicing or asset-backed lending experience
