Responsibilities

  • Identify, originate, and cultivate relationships with C&I energy buyers
  • Leverage existing relationships with energy managers, procurement leads, and sustainability teams
  • Develop and structure commercial frameworks including VPPA, financial hedges, and tolling agreements
  • Lead cross-functional teams through contract negotiations and execution
  • Prepare investment memoranda and supporting material for senior management
  • Monitor and influence changes in interconnection, tariffs, and market products

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in power marketing, origination, or energy procurement
  • Established network of relationships with C&I buyers
  • Direct transaction experience in ERCOT, PJM, or CAISO
  • Expert knowledge of offtake structuring instruments
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. utility-scale solar development and project finance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, sustainability, or finance
  • Ability to travel up to 40% within North America
