Responsibilities
- Identify, originate, and cultivate relationships with C&I energy buyers
- Leverage existing relationships with energy managers, procurement leads, and sustainability teams
- Develop and structure commercial frameworks including VPPA, financial hedges, and tolling agreements
- Lead cross-functional teams through contract negotiations and execution
- Prepare investment memoranda and supporting material for senior management
- Monitor and influence changes in interconnection, tariffs, and market products
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in power marketing, origination, or energy procurement
- Established network of relationships with C&I buyers
- Direct transaction experience in ERCOT, PJM, or CAISO
- Expert knowledge of offtake structuring instruments
- Advanced understanding of U.S. utility-scale solar development and project finance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, sustainability, or finance
- Ability to travel up to 40% within North America
