Director, Data Center Strategy and Site Selection

Responsibilities

• Develop Together's global data center strategy, defining investment and leasing locations
• Own site selection and vendor relationships, including negotiating colocation and power contracts
• Define and source site connectivity from network providers
• Lead technical site diligence regarding power, cooling, redundancy, and grid capacity
• Negotiate and interface with executive and senior level management
• Drive high-impact commercial and strategic transactions
• Support sovereign and large-scale customer deals with custom infrastructure scoping
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Infra, Finance, Product, and GTM teams

Requirements

• 8+ years in data center strategy, site selection, or infrastructure planning
• Strong technical grasp of DC fundamentals including power architecture and liquid cooling
• Experience leading complex multi-party negotiations and managing RFP processes
• Knowledge of data center, power, and real estate contractual frameworks
• Financial fluency in TCO modeling and lease vs. own analysis
• Ability to translate technical trade-offs into business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with power markets and energy procurement
• Background in hyperscale or sovereign AI projects
• Familiarity with ISPs and network service providers
