Director, Data Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, engineering, and delivery of AI and data products across the fintech ecosystem
• Establish a product-centric operating model for data capabilities, including domain-oriented ownership and data contracts
• Design scalable, resilient, and AI-ready data architectures for high-volume transactional processing
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations to define enterprise data strategies
• Lead and scale high-performing Data Product Engineering teams
• Oversee the development and operationalization of cloud-native data pipelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data, Analytics, or AI/ML
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale analytics, data science, or AI engineering teams
• Hands-on expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, and decision intelligence
• Deep experience with Snowflake, Dataiku, dbt, Fivetran, and Apache Iceberg
• Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS
• Proven experience building scalable enterprise data products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payment processing, or regulated financial services
• Experience with real-time analytics and streaming architectures
• Familiarity with MLOps, feature stores, vector databases, and Agentic AI frameworks
• Knowledge of PCI, SOC2, GDPR, and financial data governance
