Director, Financial Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized FinOps strategy across international multi-cloud footprints (GCP and AWS)
• Design and maintain cost-allocation frameworks for shared cloud resources and product margins
• Manage financial impact of AI roadmap, including model consumption and custom model training costs
• Manage cloud budgets, third-party hosting licenses, and financial forecasting
• Lead global vendor relationships, enterprise negotiations, and contract renewals
• Partner with Finance and Engineering to provide Cloud TCO visibility
• Lead and mentor the FinOps team

Requirements

• 5+ years in technology operations, procurement, or cloud finance
• 2–3 years in a formal people management or leadership role
• Proven experience with GCP and AWS billing, commitment models, and discount structures
• Technical expertise in Kubernetes, serverless compute, and storage lifecycle tiering
• Experience negotiating high-value international technology contracts
• Familiarity with AI/ML cost drivers (API tokens, compute-intensive training)
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical problem-solving skills
