Director, Global Trade Compliance Consulting

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and build trusted relationships
• Drive organic growth within existing accounts and secure new business opportunities
• Lead client presentations, proposals, and tailored solution designs
• Develop and expand the portfolio of trade compliance consulting services
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trade compliance professionals
• Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Act as a subject matter expert on U.S. import/export regulations and customs compliance

Requirements

• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (Required)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in import and export compliance
• Proven experience in a client-facing, consulting, or advisory role
• Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
• Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and client agreements
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a trade compliance consulting firm
• Knowledge of CTPAT, FTAs, reconciliation, HTSUS classifications, and duty drawback
• Experience with post entry corrections (PSC, Protest, 520(d)) and CBP CF28/29 responses
• Experience developing and launching new consulting products
• Cargowise and ACE portal experience
