Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the ACA individual and small group QHP product lifecycle, managing the calendar from design through implementation.
- Oversee regulatory filing delivery, including the development of artifacts such as PBT, SOB, SBC, and benefit documentation.
- Manage QA frameworks, validation processes, and quality standards to ensure accurate and compliant outputs.
- Establish operational governance, including execution rhythms, milestones, and version control standards.
- Serve as the central execution hub between Product, Technology, Actuarial, Operations, and external vendors.
- Lead and mentor a team responsible for product execution and QA, setting performance expectations and developmental plans.
- Manage third-party vendor performance and act as an escalation point for product execution and QA.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in insurance product (IFP and Small Group) execution and regulatory filings.
- 5+ years of experience in people management.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with health insurance regulatory filing processes (specifically ACA and state-specific environments).
- 4+ years of experience leading complex QA and production workflows.
- 4+ years of experience with controls, documentation standards, and version management.
- 3+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders on planning and prioritization.
- 3+ years of project management experience managing complex partner calendars and forums.
- 3+ years of experience managing third-party vendors.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, healthcare, or a quantitative field.
- Experience with product development processes focused on individual and family plans.
- Experience supporting senior leaders through agenda setting and decision-making preparation.
