Job description

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scientific exchange between industry and the scientific community to address clinical and scientific questions
  • Establish status as a reliable and trusted resource of unbiased, accurate, and up-to-date medical knowledge for KOLs
  • Connect KOLs and represent their voice to internal business partners to identify research or external collaborations
  • Support clinical trial execution by interacting with investigator sites to provide regional insights and feedback
  • Act as a medical resource for sites to facilitate resolution of issues related to clinical trial and scientific information
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including clinical operations, site relationship managers, and commercial teams
  • Gather competitive intelligence and share updates with internal Medical Affairs colleagues

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, DNP, MD, or PhD) with at least 3 years of MSL industry experience
  • Or Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in science-related fields with 5+ years of MSL industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area
  • Ability to travel approximately 60% and work up to 4-6 weekends per year
  • Strong presentation, computer, and literature identification skills
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific content clearly and concisely
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills to evaluate information impact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global Medical Affairs experience
  • Extensive experience in professional networking within a field-based environment
