Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with an emphasis on accuracy and scalability
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on US GAAP and SaaS accounting practices
• Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, account reconciliations, accruals, and payroll accounting
• Lead technical accounting assessments for ASC 606, ASC 340-40, and ASC 842
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automation across the finance organization
• Lead external audit coordination and maintain audit-ready processes
• Oversee Accounts Payable and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Revenue Operations to improve business processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Proven track record scaling accounting operations in complex environments
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and post-acquisition integrations
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, and international accounting
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and automation within finance workflows

• Combination of Big 4/public accounting and industry experience
