The Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) stewards the movement of people putting effective altruism principles into practice to solve the world's most pressing problems. We're working to build a flourishing future by applying evidence, reason, and compassion to challenges like global poverty, animal suffering, and risks from transformative AI.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of exceptional leaders by hiring, developing, and coaching managers across Events, Groups, Online, and Courses
• Shape CEA's organization-wide strategy as part of the Leadership Team
• Own the strategy for talent growth, defining goals and deciding where to invest resources
• Drive results using a product mindset to accelerate the growth of the EA community
• Foster a collaborative culture and coordinate across functions to support funding growth and brand strength

Requirements

• Strong value alignment with effective altruism principles and CEA's mission
• Proven track record of senior leadership in complex organizations
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams and managing managers
• Product-development mindset with experience using qualitative and quantitative data
• Entrepreneurial drive and comfort with ambiguity in a rapidly scaling environment
• Strategic vision and ability to motivate organizations toward shared goals
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with the effective altruism ecosystem
• Experience in product roles, programmatic non-profit leadership, consulting, or startup growth roles
