Responsibilities

• Create and communicate the vision and roadmap of data ingestion, warehousing, transformation, analytics, and reporting systems
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data product capabilities like outcomes reporting and personalization
• Manage and grow a high-caliber team of data engineers
• Define and drive the execution of data projects that deliver better health outcomes
• Collaborate with product, client success, sales, and senior executives
• Maintain and improve data quality throughout the data life cycle
• Protect data privacy by following secure SDLC guidelines to maintain HITRUST certification

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a people management role
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing a team of data engineers
• 5+ years of healthcare domain experience (PBM, HEDIS, Medical Claims, Eligibility, Labs)
• 5+ years of experience building, operating, and improving production data systems
• 5+ years of experience in operational excellence and troubleshooting production systems
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and translating data into business insights
• 5+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, and operations
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, dbt, Redshift, Fivetran, Airflow, Postgres, and AWS
• Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance standards
