Job description
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand partnerships with K-12 school districts throughout the assigned territory
- Engage district leaders, including Superintendents and Special Education Directors, to identify student support needs
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through new acquisition and account expansion
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and utilize performance metrics to inform strategy
- Develop and execute territory plans balancing new business and long-term growth
- Lead strategic conversations to align ESS solutions with district priorities
- Maintain accurate Salesforce documentation, including opportunity stages and forecasting
- Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative sales, business development, or account management within education or related sectors
- Demonstrated experience working directly with K-12 school districts and district-level decision-makers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing long-cycle sales processes with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience in school-based mental health, special education, or behavioral healthcare
- Knowledge of state and federal education funding streams (ESSA, IDEA, Medicaid, Title funding)
- Experience presenting to Superintendents and Boards of Education
