Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand partnerships with K-12 school districts throughout the assigned territory
  • Engage district leaders, including Superintendents and Special Education Directors, to identify student support needs
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through new acquisition and account expansion
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and utilize performance metrics to inform strategy
  • Develop and execute territory plans balancing new business and long-term growth
  • Lead strategic conversations to align ESS solutions with district priorities
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce documentation, including opportunity stages and forecasting
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative sales, business development, or account management within education or related sectors
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with K-12 school districts and district-level decision-makers
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing long-cycle sales processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in school-based mental health, special education, or behavioral healthcare
  • Knowledge of state and federal education funding streams (ESSA, IDEA, Medicaid, Title funding)
  • Experience presenting to Superintendents and Boards of Education
