Director of Engineering, Agentic Workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of agentic workflows and AI-first delivery models across client delivery teams
• Build shared services, accelerators, and reusable patterns to reduce delivery timelines
• Define and scale AI-assisted development practices using tools like Cursor and Windsurf
• Develop business cases for technology investments in agentic systems and AI infrastructure
• Set architectural direction for agentic systems, accelerators, and shared AI services
• Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of AI engineers
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience including leadership of high-performing teams
• Experience building and operating production AI, ML, or data-driven systems
• Proven track record of improving delivery velocity through platform or tooling investments
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), and RAG systems
• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Databricks, MLflow, and modern data platforms
• Ability to communicate technical strategy and ROI to non-technical stakeholders
